Dr. Pizza — Restaurant in Mexico City

Visited the casual chilled pizzeria with my husband 2 weeks ago. We booked it last minute an hour before on OpenTable. Wasn’t sure how it would be, but we were surprised and blown away by how satisfying the meal was. After travelling over Mexico for 10 days, we were craving a good pizza. This place hit the spot in flavour and soft dough 10/10.

We had the artichoke starter, which was different and recommended to try.

The pizza’s were just absolutely delicious. The spice was there. Those who wanted the additional heat to fresh jalapenos, you had their homemade chilli oil, which was 👌🏽 and actually chilli!.

I had a create my own (Margarita with red onion and chilli) and my partner went for Dr Phychiatrist.

Definitely worth a visit if you want guaranteed quality soft sourdough thin crispy flavourful pizza!

Also the waitress friendly and attentive with ensuring we had English menus and her hospitality-...

Hands down the BEST pizza in Mexico City. Plenty of options for vegans, vegetarians and non-veg. Best of all though is the service - truly amazing people work here. Nithya (sp?) always greets us with a hug and smile and the whole staff is sincere and friendly.

We go to Dr Pizza probably weekly! And they are ALWAYS incredibly consistent with the food. Crispy thin crust pizza with the freshest tasting tomato sauce! We also love their vegan albondigas (meatballs) made out of lentils and served with amazing garlic bread.

Tip: I think we have found the perfect slightly customized pizza ◡̈ get yourself the Doctor Simi (it’s vegan) which comes with mushrooms, that they cook so well, but make sure you add “poro rostizado” (roasted leeks) and jalapeños. You...

Went here for dinner with some friends (who love it and highly recommend it to everyone).

The food was tasty, everything went well but there was only 2 things:

We split the bill where everyone paid by card and I paid by cash. I never got the change back (around 100 MXN). I tried to catch the attention of the waiters but they all acted like they were busy or went somewhere else. Never came back to our table again.

After leaving the restaurant, I found out I was charged for the price of 2 people (almost 500 MXN instead of 250 MXN). My friends all confirmed they paid their part so it’s not a misunderstanding.
