Enhorabuena Café — Restaurant in Mexico City

I had a flight to contend with so arrived at 8am, when they opened, but had to wait ten minutes until the floors were mopped and dried, fine. When it came time to order food, they let me know that the "chef" doesn't normally come in until 8:30 or 9:00, so my choices were limited. 😐 They managed to make me an avocado toast without the cook, which was good.

The Cafe has a "Clerks/Slackers" vibe with my coughing waitress more interested in the baristas gossip of the day then actually checking in with the patrons, lol. Very pretty atmosphere and friendly service, but the food just wasn’t worth the cost. Best item we tried: Croissant sandwich - no complaints, it was good! Everything else: Açaí bowl: It had oatmeal blended into it, giving it a really unpleasant texture. Avocado toast: Bread was very sour, eggs tasted a little off, and everything was under seasoned. They don't know what the ingredients are in what they serve. The waitress didn't know that they serve plain black tea. So I ordered a plain matcha. Turns out, they have a powder matcha mixed with milk and sugar. I could smell the milk when it was handed to me. I'm allergic to milk.
