In my opinion, a taco is only as good as its salsa bar, theirs is on point, 10/10. Slaw dressing, pickled onions, multiple salsa and multiple sauces. Not to mention a wack load of hot sauces to choose from. I was in toppings heaven, my tacos definitely fell apart.

Now, let’s get to the tacos, oh man, my mouth is watering just thinking about those golden delights. I started with a queso stuffed jalapeño that they chop up and then add shrimp to, holy hell. 👌 Next, was a straight shrimp that they stuffed full. So much so that you have enough to pull a couple out and eat them on their own. So bomb. The topper, the fish taco, a golden deep fried crispy delight. All go great smothered in slaw, sauce, salsa and hot sauce. I was extremely pleased they had ice cold Pacifico to wash them down.

I love that you get to order with the guys who are cooking them and see the whole operation in action. That, paired with the open air seating makes for a great dining experience. There’s a ton of action on the street, so it lively and fun. I can’t recommend them more and I guarantee you’ll leave...

This is one of my favorite go-to taco spots. For about $2US, you get giant tacos filled with any combination of fish, shrimp, tuna, and/or chiles rellenos. I highly recommend getting the quesotote, it’s ridiculously good- fried beer-battered shrimp and Chile poblano with cheese in a double tortilla made right in front of you to be topped with all the cabbage slaw and salsa you can eat… there’s not much better in this part of town. For something a little lighter, you can also order the grilled shrimp taco, though it takes about 5-10 min to bring it to your table. Not that that’s a big inconvenience when you can lean back and enjoy good company over a beer or one of their many chia drinks, often with street performers playing right outside your table. El Pescadito is legendary, and definitely a spot to put on...

I enjoyed my visit here. No lines, great friendly staff and good food. The ordering system is a bit weird, though. You come in, order, then wait for the food. Once it's done, you sit down and they bring you a beverage. They give you this ticket so that if you want more food you bring it with you back to the same spot you ordered before. If there was a line I would be upset I would have to wait with the rest of the people if I'm already sitting. Why can't you order extra food with the few waitresses they have?

Pros: Cheap tacos for the quantity and quality Great location Great selection of toppings. Good sauces They take cards

Cons: Odd ordering system Some people mentioned the food lacks flavor, it does... but there is salt! Add that and your toppings and...

One like if Mark Wiens brought you here! Absolutely LOVED this place so much! I wished I came here earlier as it was right down the road from where I was staying. Ordered 3 diff types of tacos, the prawn & cheese, fish and just prawn and they did not disappoint - best seafood tacos I've had (however I've yet to visit Baja California)! The prawn taco was hands down my favourite, juicy chunks of prawn. The fish was also good, loaded with fish pieces. I loved that it wasn't just all batter and no seafood, you can actually taste the meaty pieces in it. Also, bonus points for the DIY salsa bar with so many different types of hot sauces and salads to top on. Service was also fantastic as the waiter explained to me how to order etc. since it was my first time.
