Meat tacos here are superior and appear to be their speciality. The traditional corn tortillas are thin, flakey & fine (I liked them when I do not generally like corn tortillas). We ordered bistek, pastor, languanisa, chicken milanese - all were delicious & satisfying. We didn’t try their salsa bar, but next time for sure. I gave fewer stars for service only because it’s an unusual ordering/paying system that makes sense after you get accustomed to how it’s done: - stand in the queue - order from the cook when it’s your turn - grumpy guy next to you documents your order - you get the fresh hot tacos immediately - select beverages - grumpy guy gives you a payment voucher - pay cashier when you finish eating It’s a sensible system, and economical. Conveniently located in a central circle street in Condessa. There’s a fantastic carnitas butcher next door (same samll business as taco stand). Seating outside is clean & comfortable). I really like this place! I’ve posted the order list so you can choose in advance; As I felt rushed & a bit confused looking at the posted menu while standing in line (because I must Google translate each item - porque no hablo Espanol … yet). At times there can be a long line. Note about the list: They don’t necessarily have every item every day.

The best tacos we had while we were in CDX. The meats were plenty in variety but also all so delicious. We tried arrachera for the first time and fell in love. The greatest thing is that you can add queso to almost anything and the cheese they use is so velvety and full of flavor. We went again on a weekend and the menu changed but it was still just as delicious. The salsas we're all delicious and the staff were all super friendly even though we barely could pronounce the menu items. You typically would order 1-2 tacos at a time (what fits on a plate) then you go back and order when you finish what's on your plate. This also keeps the food you're eating hot and fresh. You keep track of the tacos you and your your group has ordered by a small sheet that is marked everytime you make an order. Love this place and will definitely go back when I visit Mexico city.

Amazing tacos! Found this place on an Eater's list. It's a small hole in the wall place so mostly standing room with some counters along the walls and some seats outside. Their menu changes between the week and the weekend; it's written up on a white board on the wall. They do carnitas Fri and Sat; on those days I get the chafalote (pig's back, great combo of meat and fat). Other days I get the arracherra (beef) or costilla (short rib). We also tried a bunch of other tacos here; can't go wrong with anything here. I didn't get to try the suadero but heard it's good. You order your tacos and they give you a slip with what you ordered. You can add on more later. They accept cash or credit card. The staff were very patient with my broken spanish. We came back the next day to get more tacos.
