Homie Pizza — Restaurant in Mexico City

Delicious and decently priced pizza along with great service. I was instantly greeted and seated in the back of this small pizza restaurant. The atmosphere was great, with an industrial yet modern vibe which I loved. My order was taken quickly, which is always appreciated.

I started with the house unsweetened tea, which was very refreshing, and I appreciated that it wasn’t loaded with sugar. For the pizza, I ordered the classic Maggie pizza, a margherita pizza with an extra hint of lemon zest. The pizza was a bit large—definitely enough for two people to share, but since I was dining alone, I took two slices to go. The pizza was very tasty and flavorful, with that extra lemony zest adding a nice touch without being overpowering. I also loved the red salsa and the overall flavor of the pie.

The staff consistently checked on me to see if I needed anything else, which made the experience even better. The pizza I ordered was $225, which is a great price for two people. The other pies on the menu were similarly priced, and I thought it was fair. We have traveled extensively in Mexico. The people, culture, food and beauty are why we return to Mexico again and again. The pizza we ordered was Hawaiian Bombay and it was DELICIOUS!!! In fact the best pizza I’ve had not only in Mexico but 🇨🇦 too. The toppings were fresh, flavourful and the cheese was plentiful. Lovely woodfired crust with just the right texture. . Pizza was good, they have mild spicy options which anyone could tolerate.

Pizza option is wide but they only sell them in one size (for 2 or 3 people), there where options by slice but not all of the ones on the menu were available.
