My girlfriend and I went there for lunch yesterday, and our experience at this restaurant was horrible. First, my girlfriend got sick that afternoon. She had vomiting, diarrhea, and headache. I noticed the beef in her dish did not taste very fresh, but did not expect that could be such a problem! Just this morning, she went to the restroom for 3 times already! Even the street food in CDMX did not make her sick. Second, they served us coffee WITHOUT we ordering it. We thought it was free, and even we asked the waitress who served it (I guess she only speaks Spanish) '¿sin cargo?' she still served it. When we were given the bill, they charged two cups of coffee for 94 pesos! I negociated with them, and they say it was free for breakfast but not free for lunch. I was given the new bill, and they charged us for one cup of coffee, questioning us if we had the coffee. How can we be charged for something that we did not order at all?! I noticed there were people bringing bread (both fancy big bread and just plain bread served for free in most US restaurants) to us without us ordering them. We knew they were not free only after we explicitly asked them. There must have been people who were tricked by their 'hospitality' and finally got surprised at the bill. This is...
Read moreMy husband and I came here last night before I left back home to Canada 🇨🇦 and the service was ok. They served and attended us pretty well. It was very busy, so they would forget certain little details like a spoon for my husband for his soup. Other than that, it was great service. Now the food... the bread basket with the olive oil and balsamic was phenomenal, especially the choices of bread, very satisfying. My husband ordered a sea food pasta, and he loved it and said it was delicious. I, on the other hand, ordered a bacon pasta, and it was only ok, not a big deal. I feel like it needed a little more oregano and maybe something else to add more to the dish like sautéed mushrooms and a little more sauce. The César salad was also delicious and no complaints there. Our drinks were well recommended and went well with the meal. Now the dessert was amazing. The mouse wasn't overly sweet, and that Crème anglaise at the bottom of the plate was the most tasteful and delicious thing ever. It wasn't overly sweet and went well with the mouse cake. Would I come back for the pasta? No, but I definitely would for...
Read moreItalianni's never lets you down, no matter which location you visit. In this specific case, located in AICM, the quality of the food and specially the service, are both as good as with all its other locations, but the atmosphere in this location is completely different, because almost all the clients are in a certain degree of a hurry. On the other hand, its location inside the airport is great, because it doesn't have such a heavy traffic as some other restaurants. If I was to point at something I don't like about this location, is that it feels kind of tiny, that's why it always seem to be...
