Super cool place for a few drinks. While in CDMX I made it my mission to try Pulque before the weekend was over. Keep your eyes peeled, because this place is easy to miss. We ordered the Pulque Natural. I really wanted to like it, but just couldn’t quite. It’s likely an acquired taste and I would certainly indulge again when in Mexico City, but won’t go into my regular rotation back home. I’d add La Nuclear to your itinerary for sure. If you or your mates don’t care to drink it, order a Caguama of Carta Blanca and enjoy the atmosphere. Great place for a drink or two before bouncing to the next spot in Roma or Condesa.

If you are about to try pulque for the first time, you should avoid this place. The location has made this pulquería very popular, as tourists without a sense of pulque's taste rate it high.The price is fair and that's a good point considering that it is located in the heart of hipsterland. The infrastructure is very basic as it should be in any pulquería. However, the pulque -the cornerstone of the pulquería- isn't any good. I had the three flavours and they were all lacking of flavour and strength. The snack and the service were also very poor and the bathroom could be cleaner...

I really like this place since I have a lot of great memories here. The pulque is great, and according to my boyfriend (who really likes pulque) this place sells one of the best pulques in town. The atmosphere is great: they have good music, but keep it at a talking level, and the place is always clean. The service is also really attentive and good. Overall, they just lack a little bit more food options, since they just sell snacks to have with your drink, and I think they just offer chips at the time (but I’m not really sure about this).
