Maque Café was the first breakfast spot we visited upon arriving in Mexico City, and it absolutely exceeded expectations. We arrived early in the morning before the rush, which allowed us to enjoy the calm, welcoming atmosphere and attentive service. The café is filled with the aroma of freshly baked pastries, creating an inviting and cozy environment. While the coffee was decent, the standout feature was undoubtedly the food particularly the chilaquiles, which were exceptional and easily among the best we had during our trip. I highly recommend Maque Café as a first stop for breakfast when visiting CDMX, especially for first-time visitors. That said, it’s worth a visit at any time of day, whether you're returning or discovering it for the first time. It's a place that truly captures the heart of Mexico City's vibrant...

Poor customer service and experience. I ordered a tamal de rajas and was served a tamal de pollo with mole sauce. I let the waiter know that the tamal was not a rajas tamal and he insisted that it was. With a fork I opened the tamal to show him and then he apologized and said that’s the only kind we have right now. I kindly let him know that I didn’t want a chicken one that I was okay with my current meal. He asked if I wanted another item from the menu which I said no you can just remove it. He went to speak the older gentleman, could be the owner and then came back to say we can’t remove from your tab even though we messed up. We can only offer something else from our menu that is close to the price of the tamal. I would have understood if it was a mistake I made but it was a...

The establishment possessed an aesthetically pleasing ambiance and commendable cleanliness.

Initially, the service was satisfactory, however, following the placement of our order, there was a noticeable decline in attentiveness. Regrettably, our server neglected to periodically check on our table to ascertain if we required anything further. Additionally, the preparation and delivery of our food was protracted, taking approximately one hour despite the establishment being relatively unoccupied.

Furthermore, two of the orders delivered were incorrect. Upon bringing this discrepancy to the attention of the serving staff, their response was merely an acknowledgement of the error without any further action taken to rectify...

This is a hidden gem in Roma Norte. Great bakery/breakfast spot..perfect for chilaquiles! It was located right around the corner from our hotel (Cuadra 134) and was an easy walk. The restaurant is very neat and organized. The servers are very polite and helpful. I wish I had eaten here a few more times to try the different things on the menu. This will be my breakfast spot when in Roma Norte.

It was our first time here. We were a party of two and we got seated right away since it was early in the morning. We ordered green and red chilaquiles with and egg on top. Served with fresh squeezed orange juice and coffee on the side. All food is exquisite and service is very friendly and on point. Definitely a breakfast favorite. Well done!
