Vulevo delivers a lovely coffee experience with a balance of great flavors and a warm atmosphere. The flakiness of the croissant was remarkable, showcasing a perfectly baked texture that was truly satisfying. The almond croissant stood out with its rich flavor, while the pistachio pastry was a treat—though I personally found the cream inside a bit disappointing compared to the almond filling. A creamier, almond-like texture would have made it perfect.

The coffee itself was amazing, with the barista crafting a beautifully cloudy latte that hit just the right notes of strength and smoothness. The ambiance is both nice and beautiful, making it a delightful spot to relax and enjoy a pastry or two.

One of the best almond croissants I’ve had in CDMX.

From the moment I arrived, the service was great. I requested my croissant to be warmed up—a must—and it was brought to my table shortly after. However, when I asked for utensils from another server, the response wasn’t the friendliest.

That being said, the almond croissant itself was divine (9.5/10). It was perfectly rich and the almond spread wasn’t too overpowering, and so good that I devoured it. The café itself had an aesthetic charm, making it an enjoyable spot.

The chocolatin was good (fluffy croissant). Would have been better if it was served hot.

The lemon tart was not sour enough for my liking, though the crust itself was nice and buttery.

The chocolate cake was too sweet in my opinion. I like the crispy base a lot, but the rest of the cake was too sweet. Maybe it would have been better with tea or coffee.
