ONA — Restaurant in Mexico City

Came in with a party of two and got seated right as we got there. Everything was going well and our server was very kind. We notice we were waiting longer then usual since we’ve been here a few times before. The server comes and serves the table behind us first even though we were seated first and placed our order way ahead of them. I just notice he was checking into them more rather then us and I just really got annoyed by that. It just seemed unfair considering we were there first and we’re a smaller table. He then came in after they got their food and asked what we had ordered. Which we thought was strange because he took our order. I guess he out the bigger tables order before us. Ona should be called OH NO or in Spanish NO VA. The service is beyond slow and even with 7 staff on site, all of our food was never delivered to our table. The french toast is dry and stale. The fruit topping was not fresh. However the biggest issue is the absolutely couldn't care less attitude of the manager, Oscar. When I attempted to discuss the issues with him, he immediately said that he did not speak English. However, my friend with me was Mexican and he gave Oscar an earful in his native language. I left my bag there and they charged me to hold on to It. Food was delicious. Drinks and atmosphere wonderful. Only thing they charged My friend to pick up my bag I left there. With a nice metallica sweatshirt. They can keep it. That is my only complaint. I call them they knew what I was talking about and then they played dumb.
