Supercito Y Tacos Veganos is a super GEM in Mexico City—hands down one of the best vegan taquerias I’ve ever been to (and I’ve eaten my way across the city).
We walked in and immediately lost all self-control because the prices are ridiculously low and EVERYTHING on the menu looks incredible. We over-ordered like crazy and left feeling gloriously stuffed and very, very happy. Here’s what we demolished:
• Flautas Ahogadas – crispy flautas drowned in saucy perfection • Pambazo – this was a total standout, the bread soaked in guajillo and filled with potato-chorizo goodness, then griddled… unreal. Also a full meal by itself. • COSTRA TACOS melted cheese fried crispy in a pan, rolled up with your filling. A Total banger! • Two other tacos (al pastor and suadero style, both 10/10) • Grilled cebollitas and guacamole on the side • Agua fresca de piña -giant— and an ice-cold Topo Chico to keep it classy
Everything was bursting with flavor, and felt like the kind of food you dream about at 2 a.m. The fact that it’s 100% vegan somehow makes it taste even better—like magic.
Pro tip: SAVE ROOM FOR DESSERT. We were so full we had to skip their dessert menu and I’m still mad about it. Pace yourselves, people!
If you’re visiting CDMX and love tacos, you HAVE to come here. Supercito isn’t just great vegan Mexican food—it’s great Mexican food, period. Authentic, delicious, affordable, and playing great music.
5/5 stars. Already planning my next visit. After we walk this...
Read moreHad high expectations on this restaurant given all the positive reviews, but I was a bit disappointed. Had three different kinds of tacos (pastor, chorizo and salchica). They where OK, but a bit bland. Didn't have that much taste. I've had very good vegan tacos in several other places in Roma Norte, but this one fell short sadly. Might come back to try some other dishes. The piña aqua Fresca was refreshing. Price...
Read moreTasty tacos, only 20-25 MXN each, which is a great price for vegan tacos. They're definitely good, but not extraordinary. Not much flavor. The tortas were basically sloppy joe sandwiches with a slice of American cheese, which was alright, but I wouldn't get them again. It's worth visiting, and I'll be back, mostly because of the lower prices and convenient location / service. I want to support vegan businesses...
