We really enjoyed everything about the experience here: welcoming and informative staff, delicious food, and a fabulous wine variety. The atmosphere is lovely and the art rotates regularly.

From the moment we walked in, the proprietor personally greeted and seated us, then took the time to help us select the perfect wine pairing for our meal. The food was absolutely outstanding – we shared the bread and butter, shrimp toast, and mussels, and each dish was incredible in its own way. The mussels completely stole the show for me: buttery, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Our wine selection paired wonderfully with everything we ordered.

What made the evening even more special was our lovely conversation with the owner about the thoughtful curation behind everything at Tannin Artbar. Learning that the menu is refreshed annually, the art rotates seasonally, and the wine selection showcases bottles from all around Mexico gave us such appreciation for the intentionality behind every detail. It's a must visit, and we can't wait to return to see what new art is on the walls and discover more gems from their Mexican...

We came on the third week of opening. We found it completely by chance but what luck.

The atmosphere is wonderful and relaxing. The wine selection is fantastic and the menu is a tablet computer that tells you about your wine selection in detail. (I know that isn't so important but it's a great touch.)

The owner came over and gave us some recommendations on mexican wine and was a generally great guy.

There is a gallery upstairs and you can enjoy your wine while looking at the art which is a lovely experience.

I would recommend to anyone that likes wine, art, high tech menus or supporting local businesses...

This place combines all my favourite things: art, wine, music and Mexico City. A hidden little gem down an alleyway perfect to sip hours away contemplating how you’re making all the best decisions in life. I did a four wine tasting. It was great! I identified my favourite and then committed to a glass. Ordered some fantastic appetizers like deep fried olives that were well worth the wait and strolled about looking at art and sipping on liquid art. The music they were playing was also the best and the service was the best.
