Clara y Ema — Restaurant in Mexico City

I don't have the photos because we gulped down the sandwiches in a few seconds. Absolutely loved this place. I’ve visited Clara and Ema for a few years now since they opened and is a solid place for breakfast sandwiches. They also do great when it comes to delivery.

The egg is always cooked to perfection, portions are huge and well balanced. They have a bunch of different options and manage to create diverse taste profiles with basic ingredients.

Es un pequeño restaurante con unas instalaciones cómodas, bonitas y muy adecuadas para la zona. Las mesas están equipadas para que puedas hacer coworking (tiene conectores de luz para dispositivos).

La comida cumple con el objetivo que te ofertan. Sándwiches de huevo combinado con salchicha ahumada, jamón serrano, vegetariano, con tocino. Además ofertan bowls de frutas. Café caliente (no frío).

El cocinero habla inglés y atiende en inglés.

Respecto a lo que pedí:

Manolo Es un sándwich de huevo revuelto con jamón ibérico, tiene buen sabor y está equilibrado. Si le ponen la salsa roja y sobre todo la mostaza le da un sabor muy bueno.

Claudio Es un sándwich revuelto con salchicha ahumada. También cumple con el objetivo y está bueno en general

Bebidas Jugo de naranja. No se siente como un jugo natural, aunque sí lo ofertan como tal. Parece ser que lo azucaran y agregan un poco de agua, lo cual es usual en casi todos los restaurantes (no quiere decir que esté bien y sea una buena práctica).

En general el personal se dedica a cumplir con su propósito. No son tan amigables, son un poco serios.

En cuanto a bebidas fallan en la oferta ya que no tienen bebidas frías de ningún tipo este día. Faltaban productos el día que asistí: agua mineral.
