Wooftop Beer Garden & Canine Club — Restaurant in Mexico City

Although we loved this place ( and will definitely visit again), there are three drawbacks the staff & restaurant will need to pay attention to :

There is only a taco or a hamburger available for the “dog-menu”. We went with the impression that this was a dog-patio / bar - which seems to be what they’re pushing on their social media - but they’ll definitely need to receive feedback from clients and improve their menu for the dogs.

The menu for humans is just hamburgers and tacos … I imagine a more creative menu items is a possibility as this is inside andaz hyatt. The portions are also quite small in comparison to price

The staff weren’t necessarily friendly and certainly did NOT meet hotel-service level standards. I imagine this is due to shortage of staff ( we went on a Sunday) but also due to lack of training. Regardless, food & service are areas that can be easily improved by management if they’re willing to stay competitive, so I imagine they’ll do something about this in the near future.

Other than three 3️⃣ points, it’s a fantastic place to spend a weekend with your dogs or to work on a patio...

LOVED our lunch here. I've lived in CDMX for several years now and needed to throw a small birthday party for two friends and one of their pets. Wooftop to the rescue! The place is large, has both an indoor and patio area, cozy, and top-notch service. Luis Antonio, Jose David, and Erick took excellent care of us! They set up birthday decorations, kept checking on us, surprised us with a dessert and candle, and knew the menu well. Wooftop has board games, table-futbol, large tables to work from outside, and plenty of space for dogs to play! The food was good - think sportsbar level of burgers, tacos, salads, and drinks. They had a few options for dogs that our furry friend devoured instantly and we enjoyed our options as well. Veg options are clearly marked and they have both healthy and fried appetizers as well. A terrific option that surpassed our expectations thanks to amazing service and a great setup. We're even planning to return in November for a birthday party for my friend's pet and his canine friends! Such a nice refuge in the heart of...

Fuimos ayer a cenar para conocer el lugar y llevé a mi perrito, algo que me gustó fue la jaula para los perros , el lugar es bonito y que existe menú para perros, hasta ahí todo bien. Estoy decepcionada con el servicio, es súper lento, ya que tardaron más de 40 minutos en traernos los alimentos, el mesero no estaba al pendiente de la mesa, ya que estábamos por terminar de comer nos trajeron salsas para acompañar los alimentos, 2 veces le pedí comida para mi perrito, la primera fue la hamburguesa y la segunda los tacos de pollo, el pan de la hamburguesa se les quemó y la tortilla de los tacos estaba súper grasosa, (terminé dándole el puro pollo), aparte estas pagando por el platillo para el perro y no son ni para tener platos para perro, se lo trajeron en un plato desechable que por el viento que hacía salió volando y toda su comida terminó en el suelo, la comida en general sin sabor, pedí unos tacos de camarón y súper salados.
