If you're a sushi lover, Yoru Handrolled Sushi Bar is definitely worth checking out. This cozy little spot in the heart of Roma serves up some seriously delicious handrolled sushi.
The Place: First off, the atmosphere of the restaurant is very inviting. The dim lighting and cozy seating arrangements make for a great ambiance. It's the perfect spot for a date night or a night out with friends.
Th Food: As for the sushi itself, I have to say I was thoroughly impressed. The menu features a wide variety of options, including both classic and creative rolls. I tried several different options, and each one was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. The standout for me was the salmon Curado with the roasted mushrooms it was bursting with flavor and had a perfect balance of ingredients. The salmon was cooked to perfection and the top had a slight crunch to the top !
Ingredients: One thing I particularly appreciated was the use of fresh ingredients. You can tell that the chefs take great care in selecting only the highest quality fish and produce.
The Pricing: The sushi was also very reasonably priced, especially considering the quality of the food.
Summary: Overall, I would highly recommend Yoru Handrolled Sushi Bar to anyone looking for a great sushi spot. The food is top-notch, the atmosphere is inviting, and the prices are reasonable. I will...
Read moreNot impressed, but then again i am spoiled when it comes to the culinary world. They give you one piece of nigiri when you order and its not fresh or traditional in any way. And "no" i did not order the omakase which is generally one piece at a time, I ordered the nigiri and they serve one piece at a time regardless of which style you order. Ridiculously over priced. This place is Mexican and is ran Mexican. One piece of nigiri, watered down house sake (yes they watered it down) and if you order a bottle, prepare to pay a ridiculous price because they cannot poor water in a bottle thats never been open. They have no idea how to prepare sushi rice, it was terrible. I went for the sushi so I cannot speak for the other items, but do not go here if you are looking for traditional Japanese sushi, not going to happen!! I never ordered the omakase, so saying omakase comes with one piece is irrelevant, but nice try!! I have ordered that style many times, however I never came to your restaurant for omakase, I ordered from the menu, nice try. Deflect, deflect deflect. Mexican ran means mexican influence, where imitation crab is taken to new levels...lol...Nothing wrong with that, however, do not call it traditional or Japanese, its called a...
Read moreI checked out this spot because it’s rather rare to come across sushi restaurants specifically for hand rolls. My favorite hand roll restaurant is in LA called Kazunori and I wondered how this one would compare.
The seats are a bit limited. The staff was nice. My favorite roll was the eel, foie gras and truffle. It’s so decadent and over-the-top delicious that I ordered 2!
It is one of my favorite sushi rolls I’ve ever had!
The hand rolls were okay. The rice made particularly for hand rolls, in my opinion, actually is very hard to perfect. I don’t think this place has done that. Also, the fish inside the roll needs to be finer in texture. I ordered a crab hand roll and I was majorly disappointed. The texture of the crab was too cooked and stringy. There were lumps of crab meat inside the hand roll.
Here’s the thing, that’s somewhat okay in a cut roll. However, with hand rolls, it’s very hard to eat.
I’d come back here for the sushi rolls but definitely for the hand rolls though. Sorry, chefs.
They also ran out of tuna and clams when I was there. How do u run out of...
