Basic Foodie — Restaurant in Playa del Carmen

I don’t understand how people right 4-5 star reviews about this place. It’s the worst I have ever been. There service is complete garbage one person serving and you have to wait long no where to sit I don’t even understand how it’s so busy I guess people just don’t understand. I went 2 times thought I would give another chance. First time I ordered avocados toast the easiest thing ever to make, they don’t even toast the bread was soft, it was ok I won’t say the worst but not great. Second time ordered bagel egg’s cream cheese and some veggie pure garbage, the bagel wasn’t even toasted bagel was so thick, I didn’t even eat most of it also the coffee the worst like water coffee, they have zero clue what there doing I know way better places here to go. Also some one I was with eat the Homus toast and coffee same no good. Also I never wrote reviews about places good or bad I’m just so upset I went...

A latte, a mocha and the grilled cheese sandwich. All decent. The bread section if hyped though. Cool with all of the different types of milks. Big menu with a nice selections of good sweet stuff and tasty savory options. The portions are big and filling.

Fast wifi but be prepared for laptops filling the tables.. im torn whether I feel it takes away from the vibe or adds to it. Nice, calming lo-fi beats.

Clean toilets. All though you might get into an embarrassing situation bc they are easily water-emptied so... be patient in there, to be able to flush.

Really nice Cafe, with an awesome atmosphere. The quality of the food and coffe is on point. But i'd like to mention some things which could make it even better! :)

The Internet was really bad Would be nice if the Cinnamon Roll is always Vegan and not just some days The Oat-Milk is basically half Coconut Milk. There are so many great Oat-Milks on the Market. I'm sure this would make the cappucino a lot better, cause most of the customer are from EU or US where OATLY or other Barista Oat Milks are...
