Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Playa del Carmen

Very poor service.

Food and stuff is mostly like every other Pizza Hut… but with less ingredients. And more importantly: the employees don’t want to work.

Spent half an hour waiting for my order one day.. a few days after I tried ordering via Rappi and they did the same to the delivery person. They work really slowly and inefficiently, and they have no solution for customers.

The first time I just sat and waited, said nothing… figured it was just a busy night (even though I didn’t really see that many people in there). But then today there was really no excuse.

They most likely need more staff and better customer service training as well to handle the people that (rightfully) complain...

Complete failure. Ordered online - order was cancelled after 15 minutes. Called them directly to ask what’s the problem - told me that order is in place and all good. Waited for 30 minutes, called again - told me that they have no order registered. Placed an order again via the phone - told me to wait 30 minutes. Waited - courier failed to arrive, got lost in the neighborhood. Called then again - repeated the entire thing one more time and they still failed to deliver. Sum up - 2 hours wait, no pizza...

Unfortunately, it just doesn't taste like back home. I love the greasy crispy crust that defines pizza hut. But this was just a doughy tastless version. I have tried other american pizza brands here in mexico, and they are all bad versions of the originals. It is better to stick with local artesian thin crust pizza establishments. And the place was hot. Everyone was crowded around the one air conditioner. People left when they saw the only tables available were away from the...
