The food and daqueries were excellent and very flavorful with generous portions. The presentation was beautiful.

The service on the other hand, was not attentive at all. They dropped the drinks off and never checked to see if we wanted another later on. The food was delivered in good time but again, nobody checked to see if everything was ok or if we wanted anything else.

I had to flag a gal down for another round of drinks and made it very clear that we wanted daqueries, not margaritas...but we got margaritas anyway and that took 3 people and 20 minutes to sort out. Same with a to go box for my leftover meal. The staff has quite a way to go to be adequate.

Overall, we will eat there again because the food...

I don't know where any of these other reviews came from, but they can't be from here. This was the worst dining experience I had had in many years. The drinks were overpriced and made with low end ingredients. The service was a total joke. The beer selection was weak and they had 1 wine option which was a sweet Riesling. In Mexico!! We ordered coconut shrimp which was just OK and a pizza that never came after 45 minutes, and we were 1 of 2 tables! I left enough cash to cover what we consumed and we left, they had the nerve to chase us down the street and try to collect for the pizza we never received....

This place is new and upcoming, def the place to go and a must try if you stop in Progreso port of call. It's small but might and wow do they know how to cook and make great drinks! Let me tell you, I work on a cruise ship and so time is limited for us but I got off today and had the best garlic shrimp tacos like GRANDE camarónes, 2 for 1 shots and margaritas delicious and fast service. Ask for Casildo for best service with a 😁 I really enjoyed it here and it's right next to the beach, beautiful roof top looked like but I enjoyed the ambience outside this time. I will definitely be coming back...
