ROSSINA CAFE — Restaurant in Quintana Roo

The service of the waiters and the food is super tasty. The service of the hostess is terrible, treats waiters with arrogance, makes you wait for 30 min because “she doesn’t know how to pick up a box with your payment” nor she will wait the over saturated staff to do it while she does nothing and makes other people to wait for tables. Waiters are lovely, and this restaurant is a success because of the cook, nor the owner nor the hostess, tried to made a recommendation about this to the owner about this for the good of her business and she was a very arrogant, false and disrespectful woman. Definitively not coming back to fill the pockets of the people who explode and make their own staff feel less important than others and over exploit them.

Full disclosure: I am a creature of habit; that said, the food, service and ambience justified coming back here for breakfast four days consecutively!

Easily, the avo toast was arguably one of the best I’ve ever had. Also, whilst not personally a coffee snob, their coffees were deliciously fresh and potent. Americanos were top notch, as were the iced lattes!

The interiors, seating outside (both at the front and back), create a calming, charming atmosphere. Super leafy out back. Rustic vibes in full effect!

Sometimes, particularly at cafes, I don’t want staff to be “hyper-attentive” to my presence, I just rather be left alone. But, as attentive as they were, it wasn’t intrusive at all, it was actually done perfectly!

Rossina Café quickly became one of our favorite spots in Aldea Zama! You can immediately tell it’s a local favorite—there’s such a welcoming vibe with people popping in, chatting with the baristas, and catching up with neighbors. It has that perfect mix of energy and coziness that makes you want to come back again and again.

The food and drinks were amazing! The Huevos Divorciados were packed with flavor and beautifully plated—definitely a must-try. We also loved the Berry Oat Smoothie (so refreshing and satisfying) and the Iced Latte, which hit the spot every time.
