Rooftop Mara — Restaurant in San Miguel de Allende

This rooftop is a scam and a disappointment. It essentially overlooks a parking lot and doesn't have great views overall. They advertise for a 2 for 1 happy hour but charge 300 pesos per drink, which of course they don't advertise until you have to pay. That price is almost twice as much as other rooftops in centro. The drink options for the happy hour were between a margarita and a mezcalita When we got there on a Sunday at 4pm, we had to turn up the couch cushions ourselves as the staff had not done this when they opened. It seems to me that they're able to overcharge people off because they are almost directly across from the Rosewood, even though their facilities are far inferior. In terms of ambience, the pool was barely half filled and appeared dirty. The music speakers surrounding the rooftop seemed to be in disrepair and did not match, reminding me of a college dorm room.
