The garlic flavor was good. My wife's "pastel de carne con salsa de ciruela", a sort of meatloaf covered in plum sauce and raisins might have been the worst thing I've eaten while living in Cozumel for several years. The flavors were discordant and the texture was like a firm pate. Neither of us could handle more than 2 bites and that was just out of morbid curiosity. My 16 year old daughter and I order one plate of food to share, each get a soda and then share a piece of yummy lime pie for dinner and it around 300 pesos or $20 US dollars.
