I've read several of the reviews here and will have to agree with most of the ones who also have rated 3-stars or lower. Like was this a bad experience ... absolutely not ... I mean the music was loud ... the atmosphere festive ... the service was great ... the drinks strong ... and the food came fast ... all of that would seem to make a 5-star rating ... but I think for me as that this was my first time in Mexico (and Senor Frogs came highly recommended) ... I really was looking for something a bit more authentic. So needless to say I guess because of my expectations (which could have been off) ... i was a little disappointed. In other words had I been dropped in Senor Frogs blindfolded, I may not have even known I was in Mexico except to wonder how they managed to have an entirely Mexican crew! The music was all American Hip Hop and Pop and the food was not any more unique than having "Mexican" dishes in the US. Heck the Mexican restaurants in the US were more Mexican than this. Grant it i could have looked for something more authentic but did not have the time or the transportation to really explore (as I was docked for only few hours --- was on a cruise btw). If in Cozumel again would i go back ... sure ... as I am certain I would have a good time with friends ... but if you are looking for something a bit more authentic ... this may not...

I absolutely love the energy and the atmosphere. The staff was very serviceable and inviting, however, my group and I did not feel comfortable with the invasion of personal space. We love to party and we love to drink. However, we do not want a stranger putting their arm around us to pose for a photo or to hype us up for the party, all of this can be done without touching someone or invading their personal space. The entire group was so much fun and we were so happy we never left a pier so we spend all of our ship time in your establishment. However, it was very cringy because we were worried that the staff would come back to touch us every time they talk to us. Regardless of whether it's a hand on the shoulder or they arm around our shoulders to pose for a photo they need to ask first as opposed to just putting their hands on people. It's an unwelcomed touch. I hope I'm explaining this correctly. All I'm saying is we don't mind partying spending money drinking and having a great time. We just do not want to be touched.
