Una Mas Cozumel — Restaurant in San Miguel de Cozumel

I'm sure the food at this place is good, but the bar now has a live band that is obnoxiously loud until 11:30 PM three nights a week, making it impossible for anyone living near the place to live a normal life since this place started operating a couple weeks ago. The place was recently renovated, but it was never this loud before.

The bands are cover bands, and they set up a meter or two from the sidewalk, blasting into the street. Cozumel can be a noisy place, and nobody wants this business to be unsuccessful, but this is extreme. The folks running this obviously didn't take into account any other residents and businesses in the neighborhood.

We saw people leaving their residences last night at 11:00 PM with suitcases because of the noise, and I'm sure that's going to continue since there are several apartment and condo rentals in the area that won't enjoy this. So happy to find this great place. We heard about this restaurant from other people at our hotel. After three weeks on the island; we were looking for something other than the traditional Mexican/Seafood fare. This place fit the bill. Amazing burgers, hoagies, beer was ice cold and full pours on the wine. They even have their own version of animal fries. This little gem has the best burgers in Cozumel, hands down! After several attempts to find a good cheese burger on the island, we found Una Mas.
