My fiancé and I spent a month in Valladolid and were excited to find our hangout spot. We typically find a place we like and frequent it often, which is what we did with Mexico Mágico a handful of times. On our last visit, we decided to pop in only for drinks and were outrageously charged $360 pesos ($18 USD) for two shots of Don Julio Blanco tequila. It was our mistake for not asking the price ahead of time since they were not listed on the menu, but we’re certain we were unfairly charged. We asked the server if the price was correct and expressed our disapproval before leaving and vowing not to return for the rest of our time in Valladolid.
