About the only good thing here is the location and the view. The food was overcooked and not exceptionally fresh. Service was pretty bad, honestly. I ordered a bottle of Cabernet and they brought me a glass of red wine. I confirmed that I had ordered the bottle and the waiter said yes and that they were keeping the bottle in the refrigerator. After the first glass when I asked for more, the waiter said they were out of the wine. So I have no idea what he was doing or what the plan was. When I ordered, I pointed to the Cab and to the bottle name/price on the menu, to ensure there was not a problem with a language barrier. I also ordered the bottle in English and my best Spanish. They finally admitted their error and I changed the order to a bottle of another variety. When the bill came, they charged me for the single glass as well as the bottle. Eventually when I brought up the point that it was their error which brought out the first glass, they removed it from the bill, but overall, it was a terrible...

Go here for your slightly regretful appetite for junkfood and a nice view of the main square. If you're feeling particularly naughty, order the Nachos Mirador Grande, it's an awesome abomination of just about everything they have, that will give you either diabetes or a heart attack. But it's worth it. The DJ playing deep house goes very well with the buckets of (6 pcs) corona beers. Don't go here for quality food. Don't order pizza's, you'll regret it. Worst pizza ever. Especially order the BQQ chicken wings, the guacamole and the crispy...

Absolutely amazing experience! Jesús, our server, was incredible – not only was he kind and attentive, but he also shared a fascinating and detailed historical explanation of Valladolid along with some fun and lesser-known facts about the city. His passion and knowledge really added depth to our visit and made it memorable. On top of that, the view from the place is incredibly suggestive and atmospheric, perfect for soaking in the charm of the Yucatán. Highly recommended – ask for Jesús if you want to learn something new while enjoying...

only 2 hours away from Cancun is a world of adventure, culture & exploration! We loved visiting Valladolid while in the Yucatán for a couple of days. This is a great spot to make as your home base if you want to see Chichen Itza & some of the most famous cenotes in Mexico. Here are my recs: Stay: @olbilhotelvalladolid we loved this cute boutique hotel located in the city center, it was a little oasis that we loved coming back to! The grounds were super lush, breakfast was amazing and the flower bath reminded me of Bali! Explore: Take a day trip to Chichen Itza or the Coba for the Mayan ruins, explore the town center, go swimming in famous cenotes like Cenote Suytun, Cenote Oxman & Cenote Ik-Kil Eat & Drink: grab rooftop cocktails at Mirador don Alfonso , eat traditional Yucatán food at Restaurante El Atrio de Mayab and El Mesón del Marques #cancun #mexico #valladolid #hiddengems #travelguide #traveldestination #cancunmexico #yucatan travel inspiration, travel bucket list
