Soletana Café Santuario — Restaurant in Valladolid

This place is simply a disaster! Starting with service. You will be entitled to an abominable service with no smile and no desire to serve you. The staff seemed completely disinterested and seemed to prefer to be elsewhere. Waiters make no effort to speak or even understand you in English. With them it will be Spanish or nothing. They were 4 behind the bar and none knew what to do, it looked like none had been trained. When it comes to orders, first of all expect constant order errors and missing products than the card. Also expect a wait time comparable to Lewis Hamilton's Mercedes in grand prix. Tell yourself that even the most patient customers ended up losing patience in front of this gloomy and disorganized atmosphere. Regarding the bill, I hope you have nothing planned for the next 2 weeks because you will have to wait a century before having at least one contact with the server who I remind you is still lost behind wire bar.

In short to avoid, average service, drink not good, waiting...

I have to update my review since the initial discovery. The garden remains to be a beautiful zen, however in well over a year I haven’t had a good coffee there - always comes piping hot and impossible to drink, milk is burnt and cappuccino is not what it should be. Please train your barista 🙏🏼

Great place for a coffee. It's hard to find a proper cup of cappuccino in Valladolid - this place makes it just perfect, lovely cup, ideal size, medium roast - just what it should be. Peaceful Oasis in their backyard too. Haven't tried yet other things on their menu, but it is my new go to coffee...

Beautiful place but there’s a catch: after we were given the menu and being served our two Cappuccini, the waitress declined our food order as food was not served until 4 or 5pm. Contrary to the available photos on Google Maps, the Cappuccino was inferior. By no means comparable to a proper Barista Cappuccino.

Update: after seeing our disappointment, the waitress agreed to take a waffle order.

Update 2: the waffle machine was somewhat causing issues. The waffle order took 30 minutes.
