Arichè Valladolid Hotel & Hostel — Hotel in Valladolid

Only positive thing about this hotel is its location. We had terrible stay. It beginned on our check in when they told us higher price than booking says - because of nonsense exchange rate, even when we wanted pay cash in pesos, so what do you want to exchange? They just see you like walking walets. When you want to use sink, the water is all around. Wifi didnt work most of the time! Loud nois from street all night. On our last day water was not running in our room (not even in toilet), we told to a receptionist and he ignored it. When we came back from breakfast our room was floating, all of our stuff was totaly wet, even our electronic. They gave us zero compensation, so we had to discuss with booking. Please dont...

I went there at midday to ask if they have beds available. They said yes and told me the different prices. Then they said they cannot do a check in until 3pm and offered me to keep my luggage and wait at the pool. At 3pm they told me there is nothing available. And that the guys before shouldn't have told me something is available, as they dont have access to the system. So i wasted several hours waiting for a check in that wasn't possible! Thats a huge no go! If they would have just told me they cannot check if something is available i would have went to the next hostel on my list instead of wasting...

Great place to stay with a very reasonable price. Staff on site are very responsive and friendly. Parking is also included.

Kudos to the the owner, Javier, for going out of his way to help us with a dead car battery. We accidentally left the lights on overnight and drained the car battery. It was a scary experience since no one in my group speaks any Spanish or knows the area.

Javier was kind enough to help jump start our car twice. One of the younger guys working on-site also helped us look for local car mechanics.

I cannot thank the staff enough for saving our day....
