👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
I was there since I was 3 years old.. 40 years patronising this restaurant due to fond memories..
The food was getting worse in recent years. Many of us commented that the food used to be so good.. but now.. It's only average or worse off..
Our big families (over 20 families) of older generations and of children who have grown up and set up new family nucleus, still visit here to reminisce those fond memories.. especially the driver uncle who still drives people up and down to the restaurant..
However, this time round, when we bought 3 bottles of wines to celebrate 3 birthdays (in the past we used to do that before) , we were stopped by the staff mentioning that outside drinks can not be brought in since Oct 2023 (last year).
But the table behind us had a Chivas opened and served in their glasses already, and yet we can't. Guess Chivas is more atas.. 🤭
I can fully comprehend that's your regulation and policy set. But why the double standard?
The incident really foul our moods, and we are totally disappointed with them.
All of us felt that its time to end this as the only fond memories that we are paying to dine there are even creating worse ones.. we all agreed to its going to be the last time here on 17th Nov 2024.
The cost is not that cheap.. and there are better places to dine with the same amount of money spent.. in fact food tasted better at other places at cheaper rate..
Thank you for the fond memories, and thank you for finally putting a last one on us so that we can mustered the courage to close the chapter for all our families.. and friends.. to come to...
Read moreThe food was good, but the transportation service was terrible. From First World Hotel, it was clear that they did not manage the queue properly for those waiting for a ride.
When we finished our meal and were leaving, we queued up in order to wait for the van. When it arrived, the driver told us not to move, saying he would arrange the seating and that he saw everything. So we followed the rules. However, some customers behind us cut in line and claimed they were first. The driver ended up letting them board first, even though he himself seemed unsure who had queued first.
In the end, we chose not to argue with the elderly customers and gave up our spots. We decided to arrange our own transport back to the hotel. This experience was extremely unpleasant.
Previously, there were two vans operating in rotation, but now only one remains, making the wait extremely long. Even after waiting, you might still get cut in line by some uncivilized customers who take advantage of their age to justify...
Read moreI didn't see any mushrooms growing anywhere, so wondering how the name of Mushroom Farm came about. But the food shop selling the different Chinese Malaysian food is very nice.
The staff there are friendly and helpful. They even have a free shuttle service that runs every few minutes from First World Hotel to their shop. Be it a van or a MPV, their shuttle service have the same license plate number 2025. They usually wait near Starbucks @ First World hotel lobby. Just hop onto any one of their vehicles to get a quick ride to the shop. If the shuttle service isn't there, there are 3 different numbers to call to ask them for their shuttle ride to be sent to pick you up from First World Hotel lobby.
Nestled within the same compounds, there is a tiny grocery shop and a local produce shop. The local produce ship sells wild raw honey and wild royal jelly that they harvested from the mountains.
They open from around 11am (maybe slightly earlier, need to confirm with them) to 10+pm, but last...
