To preface any negativity that is about to follow: I understand the importance that this restaurant is trying to place on catering it's food to be more approachable for Balkan consumers. By "adjusting" traditional Asian dishes to be more desirable for the local palette. However in doing this they are falsely advertising what they serve by using incorrect nomenclature to describe Asian food that is very far from traditional as they choose try and promote. If this is a translation issue in their menu then I would hope that their marketing manager would see this and change some wording around to be more forth coming with the incorrect nature of their titling. Examples of such inconsistencies: Ie. "Spring rolls" here are Burek. Despite the expectation of how spring rolls are always expected to be made, these are just a Burek with peanuts. Fried noodles, are tagliatelle and are also not fried. Although a noodle, they are not fried and are also wheat based pasta. Often times other dishes may include unexpected ingredient choices such as whole corn and peas. This is not disclosed in the menu. If you are browsing other reviews then you may also find others have had varying experiences of what their dishes actual may contain. All of which are not what one would expect when ordering East Asian foods at an "East Asian" restaurant. All this to be summarized if you were coming here to enjoy Asian and or Hong Kong specific dishes, this is far from it. It is just inappropriate to call their menu selection actual Asian food as it is improperly advertised and you are at risk of receiving an entirely different item than you expected once ordered. I have included a photo of the bill which also clearly states in their POS system "Burek" & "Tagliatelle". I would encourage the front of house managers to change these tags in their system as when guests see this on their bill it furthers the implication that they were lied to about what they were receiving.

It was the most terrible place I have ever visited. I always have lunch in Chinese cafes in the Balkans. I especially love Chinese juicy huge dumplings in soup. As well as Chinese crispy cucumbers in sesame dressing. But in this cafe the soup with Chinese dumplings turned out to be a clear broth with two small Russian dumplings(pelmeni) that were not cooked and had raw dough and meat. This soup costs about 3.5 euros here, although in Belgrade I buy 1 kilogram of Russian dumplings(pelmeni) for 1200 dinars (10 euros). And a portion of 12 huge juicy Chinese dumplings in Belgrade in a Chinese cafe costs 700 dinars (6 euros). The stuffed squid were tough. And the cucumbers in the salad were not crispy, like the Chinese. By the way, when I went to the toilet in this place, I saw the cook in the kitchen next to the toilet. It was a Balkan woman. I didn’t see anything in common with China and Chinese cuisine.

Don’t be fooled by the prize. This place ruined our plan to visit Kotar since I became severely sick after eating chicken teriyaki at this place. I spent the entire night and morning vomiting and having diarrhoea. My wife went to pharmacy to get some medication to calm my stomach. The chicken tasted old, the teriyaki sauce was disgusting, and fried rice was dry. Since I was hungry, I just ate it I now completely regret it. My wife ordered ‘brancin’ fish, which was pretty dry, and rice with veggies were oily and average taste. Please avoid this place because it’s horrible and spend extra money and get a decent meal. We did not have water at the table with the meal, so my wife asked for water and the waiter brought water just for her, not for me. Terrible service.

Avoid this Restaurant! Horrible food I recently dined at Hong Kong restaurant, and I must say that it was an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience from start to finish. I feel compelled to share my encounter to save others from wasting their money on this subpar establishment. Firstly, we ordered the spring rolls, expecting the classic crispy rolls filled with delicious ingredients. However, what arrived at our table were something entirely different—a strange, crepe-like concoction that tasted overwhelmingly of rancid oil. The dish was a complete letdown, and the misleading menu description added to our disappointment. Next, we ordered the chinese fried calamari. To our surprise, they weren't fried at all but rather an odd, gummy texture. The calamari seemed to be stuffed with something, completely deviating from the crispy and tender calamari we had anticipated. It was an unpleasant and confusing dish that left us unsatisfied. We also ordered the fried rice with gamberetti (shrimp), hoping for a flavorful and well-cooked dish. Unfortunately, it turned out to be completely inedible. The shrimps themselves were far from fresh, with a noticeable dryness and an unappealing taste. The dish lacked any semblance of quality and left us questioning the restaurant's standards. Moreover, we opted for noodles with shrimp, expecting a satisfying combination of flavors. However, the shrimp were disappointingly similar to the ones in the fried rice—dry, flavorless, and seemingly devoid of freshness. It was a disheartening repetition of subpar ingredients and lackluster execution. To make matters worse, when we voiced our concerns to the staff, they displayed an appalling lack of professionalism. We requested to speak with the owner in hopes of resolving the issues, only to be met with a dismissive response. The owner's refusal to engage, simply stating that they did not speak English, was an unacceptable and disrespectful way to address customer dissatisfaction. Considering the quality of the food, the inadequate customer service, and the owner's unwillingness to address our concerns, I strongly advise others to steer clear of Hong Kong restaurant. The €84 we spent on this terrible meal was an utter waste, and I would hate to see anyone else fall victim to such an awful...

Do not go there if you have working taste buds!!!

Sadly you can’t give less than one star … As a vegetarian I was looking for a refuge from the local meat-loving cuisine. Huge mistake!!! First we have been ignored for almost half an hour. But standing in the way and waiting turned out to be the best part of this experience. And the red wine I guess. Our table was still quite messy and a bit dirty but fair enough. Then they charged us a Kuver fee. Even though they weren’t able to offer us free water or clean the table. We had free salt and pepper though. Their food has nothing in common with any asian food I’ve ever tasted. We weren’t expecting much. But even the asian food stands in Berlin’s subways are haute cuisine compared to this. Literally every instant dish had more to offer. The vegetarian spring rolls were some kind of soggy dough triangle. But at least they did indeed contain vegetables. Next the eggplant dish was made of some watery excuse for sauce which tasted like nothing. Up to this day I never used salt to season asian food … Luckily we were able to sneak some soy sauce from another table. Even that didn’t help. There was an attempt to fry the eggplant for some reason beyond me. It added nothing to this dish. This brings me to the fried rice. The best dish in our opinion. It tasted like nothing but it had some veggies and had been in touch with a frying pan. Then the worst contestant entered our table… The ‘fried’ noodles. I can say with a 100% certainty that they have never been fried. Those soggy rice noodles were also swimming in some kind of watery tasteless sauce. Even every noodle box I bought after a few beers was a blessing compared to this. So we tried to save this mess by ordering hot sauce. They answered by charging us for some mildly spicy ajvar. It didn’t help.

I hope you don’t do this to your poor...
