A Disappointing Experience at a Newly Opened Restaurant. My family and I recently decided to try out the newly opened fusion kitchen restaurant in Agadir after being warmly welcomed by a staff member at the entrance. The initial impression was promising, and we were excited to experience what we hoped would be a wonderful meal. Unfortunately, our experience took a sharp turn for the worse once we were seated and greeted by a waiter who took our order. His attitude was incredibly rude and made us feel entirely unwelcome. As I was confirming an order for my daughters, he aggressively interrupted me, stating, "Well, you are not ready to order so I'm going’’ repeatedly. The tone of his voice was completely unprofessional and shocking. I have traveled extensively through Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, and I have never encountered such appalling service. What was meant to be a pleasant family dinner was completely soured by this one individual's behavior. The manager was apologetic and tried to get us to stay, but the damage was already done. We ended up leaving and went back to our favorite Lebanese restaurant in the marina, where we are always treated with kindness and respect. While this new fusion restaurant may have a good reputation for its cuisine in Marrakesh, the service we received was inexcusable and has guaranteed that we will...
Read moreBeldi Fusion Kitchen is one of my favorite restaurants in Agadir, and I’ve been there around ten times — for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is always excellent, made with quality ingredients and presented in a creative way. The terrace has a lovely view and the location, close to the beach, makes it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal.
However, the service organization really needs some improvement. There are plenty of staff members working between the kitchen and the terrace, yet simple things take far too long. Several times I had to wait 20–30 minutes just to get water, bread, or olives — once I even had to ask repeatedly for water for my kids. Often, the olives and bread only arrive together with the main dish, which doesn’t make sense. Starters and drinks should always come first.
It’s not about the food or the staff’s attitude — they’re friendly and polite. It’s just a matter of coordination. If they manage to fix this small issue, the experience...
Read moreI had breakfast here and was really disappointed by the service. The Moroccan breakfast menu included harsha, but it was never brought to our table. When we asked about it, they still didn’t bring it afterwards.
They also served bissara without proper spoons — no big spoon for the soup and no small fork or spoon for the fruit salad.
To make things worse, one of us ordered a small bottle of water, and right after that, we asked the waiter to change it for a bigger one. He refused, saying that since he had already entered the order into the system, it couldn’t be canceled.
This was not even during a busy weekend — it was a regular workday. Honestly, very poor service for what should have been a simple breakfast experience. Definitely not...
