Del Mar — Restaurant in Agadir

Be Ware. The waiter didn't want to give us our bill?? He made it very difficult for us to pay?? The machine wasn't working he said..... just for us specifically it seemed....but he would not provide us a written bill. And then said he couldn't take a card for less than 300 DHR.... I'm in Agadir for the summer + most decent restaraunts - as we thought this was, take cards no issue for any amount, a min usually is 200DHR if there is one. **It seemed to us the waiter wanted to pocket the cash for himself and not report it to the establishment?? When eventually he gave us a bill, he then walked away with my card + the machine rejected my card - I showed him the amount on my card on my bank app as I have dirhams + magically the machine then worked a second time + we were able to pay..... As luck would have it - we're 2 European women + he seemed to think we were born yesterday + perfect targets for his scam. We won't be recommending here to our guests or friends! The 2 stars is for our 2 salads which were as one would expect - although the dressings came 10 mins...

We was there 1st time and it was actually good food and service. So we decided to go again next day, just before flying back to London and it was the exact opposite. I ordered chicken and came out pink so I had to ask them to grill it properly and the owner(or Manager) who is middle aged with white hair and glasses, not only didn't come to apologize, but gave us dirty looks when I mentioned that it wasn't cooked accordingly.

Before paying, as they saw us there a day before and as a "thank you" from them, they also tried to charge us extra for a drink we didn't have.

It could be an excellent place as the location is superb but the attitude of the staff and the hit and miss food, I think it should make you avoid it and...

We used to come this restaurant since 2018, it used to be always good. Today after couple of years, we go back, first of all we were forgotten for about 20mins, completely, we really lost appetite at that point but we still didn’t want to be rude! We tried to give another shot, we ordered a Sangria in the terrace, we waited for 15mins without anything.

The manager and a waitress were very rude and defensive to why we expressed our dissatisfaction before we left, gaslighting us into believing we are to blame.
