I recently visited a KFC branch with high hopes of enjoying their signature fried chicken, but my experience left me thoroughly disappointed. This visit was marked by a mix of errors, including receiving the wrong dish, being overcharged, and enduring an incredibly long wait time.
To begin with, I ordered a Royal Meal. However, when my order finally arrived after an excruciating 50-minute wait, I was met with an entirely different meal – a tiny chicken sandwich that doesn't even look like the one on the menu. This mix-up was frustrating, to say the least.
Adding insult to injury, I noticed that my order was more expensive than expected. The price on the menu is 44 MAD, I paid 45 MAD and on the receipt it was 41 MAD. Not only did I not receive the meal I initially ordered, but I also ended up paying extra for the incorrect sandwich combo. It's disheartening to feel like you're being taken advantage of as a customer, especially when you're already dealing with a long wait time and the disappointment of receiving the wrong food.
The 50-minute wait itself was baffling. I understand that fast food establishments can get busy, but this seemed excessive, even by KFC's standards. Waiting for nearly an hour for a fast food meal is simply unacceptable. It's worth noting that during this time, I observed several customers who also seemed frustrated by the wait and the chaotic atmosphere in the restaurant.
On a positive note, the staff members were apologetic when they realized their mistake, but that didn't alleviate the overall dissatisfaction of the experience. In situations like this, prompt and accurate service should be the top priority.
In conclusion, my recent visit to KFC was a disappointing one. They had about 70 pre-filled warm fizzy drinks ready on the till counters and were not cold and they did not have any ice left either. I asked for the meal to go large but they did not have that because they made it easy for themselves as they were busy. Outside seating area lightings are very poor and should be a bit brighter. The shop is always very busy but unfortunately they only have one male and one female toilet and it is not enough. There were cleaners working hard but I saw a dead cockroach in the male toilet floor and I will post a picture of it if I can. The shop is always busy so the staff don’t really care about their customers and their complaints. Their coleslaw tasted sweet which was weird and it was dry as hell and needs improvement.
