Foodwise, the appetisers are typically sweet such as the honey biscuits and dates. Bread is dry, so you must eat it with the bland soup which tasted like dilute mulligatawny soup. For the mains, the beef stew was cooked as tanjines style. Meat was tender and fairly tasty with simple spices, so it was also someqhat bland. Plenty of potatoes and carrots.
