Burger 'n Shake Marrakech — Restaurant in Marrakesh Prefecture

Absolutely class place.

From two Brits (Myself and my partner) we stopped off here due to the great reviews and oh boy was it fantastic.

Food was incredible very valuable in our eyes. 2 drinks, 2 burgers and some loaded chips come to around 240 MAD, Just under £20

Service was brilliant, a little kid had tried to nab something from one of the other customers table and the (owner or manager) ran after him and told him off. He then proceeded to give the customer a replacement for what the child took. Incredible hospitality.

Honestly, me and my partner looked at each other and had agreed that out of the week, this was the best food we had.

We'd recommend anyone to go there. Especially if you're getting home sick!

Just keep in mind, its open to the street so can be noisey and people did come up to us to try to sell us items which was easily brushed off with a 'no thank you'

After this meal later on during the night, I personally suffered some serious stomach issues (Im sure you know what I mean 🚽💦💩) and as this was the only meal I had on the day, it unfortunately limits it to just that. So writing this whilst being on the toilet, be careful what you order. I am unsure of what it couldve been. maybe the pork? With the total collapse of my bowel. It loses 1 star due to the cramps, toilet breaks and fever. This was also extended to my partner. Too thin patty, didn't feel like I was eating a burger.

First of all, I should mention that I only eat meat occasionally. This burger place was recommended to us. Three of us went there. We ordered different burgers and one loaded fries. The fries with the sauce were really very tasty (5 stars), although far too expensive for the price (price fries 3 stars) With this burger, I didn't really feel like I was eating a burger. The patty was far too thin. I have to keep looking at my burger to make sure I got a piece of meat, and yet, the burger didn't taste like a burger, because the meat felt missing (3 stars). I was told that I should have ordered two petties. I seriously wonder if that's the point of a burger, can a burger only taste good if it's made with two petties?! The location of the store is central, but very noisy because it's right on the street. Apart from that, we had the smell of chip fat in our noses the whole time. It was 2 am, nothing else was open. I have an early morning flight at 6 and needed to kill some time, sat here and had the BEST chicken bites and then had to try the burger after I finished… which was great also. Then, I ordered a taxi with one drive, and the driver insisted on at least 100. I didn’t have the cash, so I went back to Burger n Shake and tried to pay them to get some cash to give to the driver. None of my credit / debit cards worked, but my friend working there still gave me 50 dirhams for the ride to the airport, knowing I was leaving the country.
