Le Makassar Marrakech — Restaurant in Marrakesh Prefecture

BEST restaurant IMO.

Le Makassar delivered an exceptional experience from start to finish. The live piano player set an upbeat, elegant tone, and the food was phenomenal — the seafood pastilla was flaky perfection, and the lamb and prune tagine was melt-in-your-mouth tender.

The staff went above and beyond, with the manager and kitchen team personally checking in, and the waiters adding to the fun. Shoutout to Ismail and Youssef. Plus their grey wine recommendation was spot on.

Architecturally the building is a beauty… and affordable prices for such quality made this my favorite dining experience in Marrakesh — easily rivaling Fes. The perfect way to celebrate my last night!

Insanely good food! I recommend the starter with the Aubergine and the avocado shrimp Tatar. They are out of this world good. The staff are the sweetest people ever, and the live music was such a vibe. Couldn’t recommend this place more, other than saying, this would be a huge reason to come back...
