We opted for dinner at Le Petit Thai on a weekday night. The place was quite empty, which meant we were seated quickly (we were practically the only diners there!). It has a peaceful atmosphere and is tucked away at the end of a street.
The food, however, was a mixed bag. The spring rolls were delicious and crispy, a real highlight. Unfortunately, the Pad Thai was a letdown. It was overwhelmingly full of fish sauce and lacked the classic peanut flavor. The green curry was a strange one - an almost neon green color - but surprisingly, it tasted alright.
Overall, a bit of a gamble depending on what you order. The spring rolls were great, but the Pad Thai needs work. If you're looking for a quiet spot with friendly service, this could be a good option, just be prepared for some inconsistency...
Read moreTERRIBLE! Absolutely the worst 'Thai' food I've eaten. 505 MAD for something I wouldn't pay more than £5 at home. This I'd NOT authentic Thai food in anyway. Go to your local Asian shop, buy some Thai paste, fish sauce - you will 100% make better food than this.
E.g the Green chicken curry had ZERO authentic flavours- literally, standard off the shelf green curry paste and a can of coconut milk - the amount of chicken wasn't even 50g - 70- to 80 DM for that is disgusting. Same thing with all the dishes.
The only thing that tastes decent was the mango sticky rice - portion so small my little 9 year old could easily eat 3 of them.
This is a public service announcement with so many great things to eat in Carre Eden area of Gueliz, don't go here...
