Wow, Le Petit Thai in Marrakech is a total gem! The place has such a cozy and friendly vibe, and it made us feel super welcome from the get-go. The Thai food here? Absolutely amazing! We dove into seven different dishes, each one packed with delicious, authentic flavors—it felt like a mini trip to Thailand! What's even cooler is that we got to enjoy all this yummy food and drinks, and it didn’t burn a hole in our pockets—the whole feast cost us less than 400 Dirhams! The staff were super nice and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. If you’re in Marrakech and craving some great Thai food that’s easy on the wallet, you gotta check out Le Petit Thai. It’s a chill spot to grab some incredible eats!

The best Thai restaurant in Morocco!!! Ok, maybe I’m a little excited. But we traveled Morocco for 2+ weeks and this was the most authentic Thai restaurant we could find. The food was truly authentic, delicious, and reasonably priced. Som tam (papaya salad) was sooo good. And the mango sticky rice was the BOMB! Pad Thai was a bit on the sweet side, chicken green curry and beef basil wok weren’t amazing, but all were tasty. If you want a nice westernized Thai restaurant in Marrakech, go to the nearby, popular Eat Me Thai. But if you want an authentic Thai taste, this is the place. Nothing fancy, just great food.

We opted for dinner at Le Petit Thai on a weekday night. The place was quite empty, which meant we were seated quickly (we were practically the only diners there!). It has a peaceful atmosphere and is tucked away at the end of a street.

The food, however, was a mixed bag. The spring rolls were delicious and crispy, a real highlight. Unfortunately, the Pad Thai was a letdown. It was overwhelmingly full of fish sauce and lacked the classic peanut flavor. The green curry was a strange one - an almost neon green color - but surprisingly, it tasted alright.

Overall, a bit of a gamble depending on what you order. The spring rolls were great, but the Pad Thai needs work. If you're looking for a quiet spot with friendly service, this could be a good option, just be prepared for some inconsistency...

TERRIBLE! Absolutely the worst 'Thai' food I've eaten. 505 MAD for something I wouldn't pay more than £5 at home. This I'd NOT authentic Thai food in anyway. Go to your local Asian shop, buy some Thai paste, fish sauce - you will 100% make better food than this.

E.g the Green chicken curry had ZERO authentic flavours- literally, standard off the shelf green curry paste and a can of coconut milk - the amount of chicken wasn't even 50g - 70- to 80 DM for that is disgusting. Same thing with all the dishes.

The only thing that tastes decent was the mango sticky rice - portion so small my little 9 year old could easily eat 3 of them.

This is a public service announcement with so many great things to eat in Carre Eden area of Gueliz, don't go here...
