Beware some food not fresh! Come here for drinks and air conditioned views but not the food. We came with a party of 8 and ordered lots of different dishes. Generally stick to simple local dishes and beware getting non-moroccan dishes with the exception of pizza. This place takes actions with the food to cut corners that would indicate to be careful what you order.
Food:
First do not order the guacamole! It was a green paste with broken stale dorrito chips. It was inedible. There are no corn tortillas in country so everyone uses dorritos for chips. However most people use fresh ones not ones that tasted like the bag has been opened for a few weeks. A few people ordered the greek salad and it was most definitely not fresh. The cucumbers were so rubbery and translucent like they have been sitting in liquid a few days. This makes me question their food standards to serve something that wasn’t made the same day. Also do not order the Lebanese chwarma. Neither Lebanese in flavor or good. Not sure what the sauce was but both people who ordered it left it after two bites.
What was decent was the BBQ (mechawie) and pizza. We had three kinds of grilled meat dishes and two kinds of pizza and all were good. Nothing special but good.
Atmosphere: This is rooftop seating that is enclosed in glads building and air conditioning. After a 4 hour tour of the market it was just what our group needed to rest and relax. The views, decor and plants were great.
Service: We were there for lunch and noticed the servers quickly became overwhelmed when the restaurant was full. Once they had our orders they forgot about us. Never checked in on us or asked us how our food was. We had to go flag them down for a new round of drinks.
Prices were expensive. This was our more expensive meal even with their “happy hour” specials. There are a lot of rooftop places out there and I regret eating here. Votre Table is just 10 feet from here and had way higher quality food, better service, half the prices and a lovely...

As we arrived, we were greeted by a warm ambiance and the sounds of great music that set the tone for the evening. We kicked off our meal with a refreshing ginger natural shot, which was invigorating and perfectly balanced. This was a great start to the culinary journey that awaited us.
We then indulged in a selection of Lebanese small plates to share, each dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The variety allowed us to sample different tastes and textures, and every bite was a delight. The highlight of the meal, however, was the main course. I chose the beef tagine, which was cooked to perfection—tender and flavorful, infused with aromatic spices that captured the essence of Moroccan cuisine. My partner opted for the chicken tagine, which was equally delicious, showcasing the rich culinary traditions of the region.
To accompany our meal, we enjoyed a glass of Moroccan Chardonnay, which paired beautifully with the flavors of the dishes, enhancing the overall dining experience.
One of the most magical moments of our evening was watching the sunset from the terrace. The panoramic views of Marrakech as the sun dipped below the horizon were breathtaking, making it an ideal setting for a romantic dinner.

Read moreMy partner and I were subjected to fraudulent pricing and intimidating behavior by the staff, which left me feeling deeply uncomfortable. We initially ordered two Aperol Spritz, priced at 120 DH each. The waiter immediately offered a "Happy Hour" promotion, claiming it was two-for-one. To confirm, we repeatedly asked, “So, you mean two drinks for the price of 120 DH total?” Both my partner and I received a clear, verbal confirmation: “Yes, two for 120 DH". When we went up to pay, the total was 300 DH, instead of 240DH. When we calmly disputed the charge, the situation escalated instantly. The staff became aggressively controlling. Multiple employees approached us. They shifted their attention to me and away from my partner. Getting uncomfortably close to me, creating a physical presence that made me feel trapped and cornered. When I used my Hand to slightly push them back to get a distance, they told me "not to touch them" despite them being extremely close to me and me just making sure I'll getting some space. I told them to not come that close and got a bit louder, voicing my distress and shock over the fraudulent pricing and the aggressive proximity of the staff, they actively censored and silenced me. I was deliberately shut down and prevented from speaking clearly about the situation. This was not a simple billing error, this was a deliberate attempt at a bait-and-switch, followed by highly unprofessional and menacing conduct designed to coerce payment. DO NOT GO HERE...
