During my visit to Marrakech, I had the pleasure of dining at Amornakoch Café, and it was truly a memorable experience. Although the restaurant is relatively small and can get quite crowded, the vibrant atmosphere makes it worth the wait. We did have to wait a while to get a good table, but once we were seated, everything about the experience was simply delightful.

The highlight of our visit was definitely the food. We were particularly eager to try camel tangia, a traditional Moroccan dish, and we were thrilled to find that Amornakoch Café offered it. The dish was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, with spices that beautifully captured the essence of Moroccan cuisine. Every bite was a treat, and it’s safe to say the food exceeded our expectations.

Another charming aspect of the café is its evening ambiance. The warm night lights inside create a cozy, inviting vibe, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The décor and lighting perfectly complement the authentic culinary experience, providing a sense of both comfort and culture.

Overall, I would highly recommend Amornakoch Café to anyone visiting Marrakech. Despite the wait for a table, the amazing food, especially the camel tangia, and the enchanting atmosphere make it well...

Me and my husband decided to have dinner in one of the restaurants in the square as after an afternoon in the souks we were left with no cash and opted for a place where we could pay with the card. Be aware a 5% fee of the total will be added to your bill when you pay by card. We went to many restaurants in Marakech first time I have to pay extra for paying with card. We ordered two vegetarian couscous which tasted very bland. Nothing special there. We only manage to eat half of it just because we were very hungry. I ordered a kiwi juice which caused me to almost choke on it. There was hard pieces of something inside that felt like spikes that got stucked in my throat. I couldn't enjoy anything else afterwards. When I explained to the manager that I don't think it's fair to be charged for a drink I couldn't drink and was left on the table she had a very aggressive attitude and said that I ordered it and therefore I have to pay for it. I ended up by paying because it was not worth in the end but I was left with a very bad feeling. Such a shame as the place has so much potential but unfortunately is run by people who should not be working in hospitality. You can definitely get better quality food for the amount you pay and a much...

Very disappointed, it seems according to reviews that people are blinded by the roof terrace view, but this is a restaurant above all. I had an harira, I had many before and that one did not have pasta or chickpeas inside, but could be a different way, except it was tasteless, I could feel the spices in my throat but no taste. I had a Marrakech speciality tajine with beef, except there was very little beef and big chunks of fat, disgusting!!! I asked the young lady on the table close as she asked the same tajine and same, little piece of beef an lot of fat, so it seems to be the normal. Bad service, no glass for my drink, gave my tajine in the table next to mine, table of 4 only one tajine delivered, my tajine came 10 minutes later a long with the rest of the table of 4 which confirmed the table mixed-up. I had to ask for the bread which come with the tajine. So a very bad experience for me. I had cheaper nicer tajines not far from there. In conclusion if you want to pay 140DRH for a tajine of fat, go there otherwise avoid this place. I don't recommend it even...

We got recommend the place when we were picking spices at a store nearby. Obviously, being Portuguese, we got suspicious that it would be a touristy place. But we got there and the atmosphere was great, the staff was really nice, and it was all nicely decorated. As other people already commented, they take their time serving people, but when the food comes you can't really complain. All nicely plated, and the meat is great! The cheese entrance was marvelous, and the bread took us all back to Portugal in a heartbeat! You're right above one of the most chaotic places in Marrakesh, but the restaurant just breaths peace. The menu is really funky, with the colourful hand - our 17month old loved it and kept saying "hand, hand!" all smiles. The one thing they could improve would be a better selection of desserts, as the options were pretty basic and nothing to do with the amazing moroccan plates they serve. The coffee is amazing, though!
