Do Noto bother!
Felt like they had already passed judgement on us at the front door before even having stepped inside. Despite having made a reservation for a group of 7 weeks ahead for a Saturday evening, claimed they couldn't find it, even though we pointed out on the screen in front of them several times. They eventually, reluctantly it seemed, sat us down at a table set for only 6 people. We had to find our own chair for the 7th person and ask for additional setting for them.
After waiting a long time for menus, they took an order from 1 of the 7 people only, before the waiter wondered off. A short while later received the food and drink for the one person they had taken the order from - the rest of us hadn't even ordered yet! We had to let another waiter know we wanted to order. They took orders from 3 more the group before wondering off again, whilst the 1st person's food was now getting cold.
We waited some more time now and then asked to speak to the manager who definitely wasn't in a hurry to speak to us. He sent us yet a different waiter for who we had to repeat the previous half order and the remaining part.
We still had to keep reminding them we were waiting for some drinks.
The food itself, when it eventually came, was average with very little flavour. Very disappointing for the prices of the dishes. I'm no cook but I could have knocked up something better tasting!
When the bill came, it was incorrect, we asked for it to be amended. We had to wait a long time and then gave up and went to find the manager ourselves, who we noticed had been watching us from afar whilst we were dining, but avoided us. He eventually came to the table, laughing on the phone, without a word picked up the bill and walked away asking his colleague to correct it. No apologies or discounts for the way we had been treated.
All in all, an extremely poor poor experience. The waiting staff were very unprofessional and disorganised - we had between 4 and 6 different people serving us, none of them seemed to know what was happening. For a restaurant that portray themselves to be upmarket and charge extortionate prices, my group left feeling utterly disappointed and felt like it was a bitter end of our holiday. We definitely didn't feel welcome and won't...
Read moreWhat a JOKE for Customer Service and Italian food.
We had a reservation, we were 6, this man who said was the manager, instead of doing what a manager should do, was very rude and did not accommodate us in the table we had reserved, and the way he spoke was far from providing the minimal customer service.
They then moved us to another table which was outside at the terrace which we didn’t want but at that point we had no choice. The roof on the outside was dripping water over my shoulders and chair, which was very embarassing, and I had to sit SIDEWAYS to avoid that water. I posted a picture showing the water after it had been collected on the floor.
The waiters at first were nice, but as we approached the end of our dinner, they showed they careless behavior. We had ordered a dish and asked to bring everything together, as the food arrived and we started eating, not until 45 mins later that we realized we were missing that dish. We then asked them to cancel it as it was too late, we were so pissed, and the waiter said that they can’t cancel it because it’s been ready, and when it arrived it was COLD. Not fun when you have to eat cold meat and fries because the dish has been sitting in the kitchen ready for the whole time and they forgot to bring it to the table. McDonald’s fries would have been a better option than their fries. Picture posted of the dish.
I ordered the Maccheroni Al Ragu, Not so Italian. The sauce was like a tomato sauce can that you would buy from the supermarket.
The DJ was good, nice music, nice live band, just the volume too loud for a dinner for me, I would describe it as having dinner in a nightclub.
Overall, I DO...
Read moreDisappointed and Shocked by the Disrespect and Discrimination Towards Moroccans, We had one of the worst dining experiences at Noto Marrakech, which is extremely disappointing considering this is a restaurant operating in Morocco itself. From the moment we arrived, it was very clear that the staff prioritized serving foreign tourists while treating Moroccan customers with complete disregard. One particular waiter was shockingly rude and dismissive. When we politely pointed out that the Caesar salad was not prepared correctly and didn’t meet even basic standards, his response was completely unprofessional. Instead of offering to help, replace the dish, or even apologize, he refused to assist us and dismissed our concerns as if we were not worth his time. It was even more upsetting to watch how attentively and warmly the same staff treated non-Moroccan customers—friendly smiles, constant check-ins, and attentive service—while Moroccans like us were left ignored and disrespected in our own country. This is not just bad customer service; it’s a clear display of discrimination and lack of respect towards locals. A place like this should be ashamed to operate with this attitude in Morocco. No restaurant should make their own people feel unwelcome or inferior. This was my first and definitely my last time visiting this establishment. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously, but sadly, judging from their behavior, I...
