Petanque Social Club — Restaurant in Marrakesh Prefecture

Phenomenal. Extremely cool, chilled out and relaxed. Great food, great service. The best of Marrakech! Honest and caring communicative staff.

Minor feedback to the owners. -The lack of differentiation between starters and mains on the menu makes it difficult to determine portion sizes. I ordered what I assumed was a fairly small light dish and it turned out to be huge. -flat white coffee is still far from an actual flat white. None of the microfoam nor strength needed. Also needed to be hotter. Flat white is more like 85c as compared to a latte at 65c. But the Negroni was perfect! As was the fish

It is such a shame that such a newly established place has had ONE bad review, but because it is from a large group where so many have posted it will take time for the star rating to accurately reflect the value of this place.

I don't know what went wrong on that night but I can only imagine, a bunch of drunken slightly arrogant foreigners backing a team of local staff into a corner and hammering them till both had their backs up in defence. I'm sure the staff have improved their systems and all will be well. Come chill and enjoy...

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this restaurant. I made a reservation in advance, but when I arrived, the receptionist was rude and unprofessional. She kept us waiting while serving other customers who arrived after us and then refused to give us a table—any table—despite my reservation. I even told her I just needed a spot with fast WiFi and didn’t mind where, but she still refused, saying it was dinner time… which made no sense since I had booked for dinner in the first place.

To make matters worse, she accused me of speaking too loudly, even though the music was blasting, and I genuinely couldn’t hear her well due to my hearing issues. I even apologized and asked if I had been rude in any way, but she just kept up her bad attitude. Eventually, I decided to leave, and instead of handling the situation professionally, she said, "Yeah, get out."

Even if there had been a misunderstanding, this is not how you treat paying customers. This was hands down one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I won’t be recommending this...

My visit to Petanque Social Club on Friday, September 22nd, left me incredibly disappointed and frustrated. The evening took a negative turn when we discovered that we had been overcharged for numerous drinks and items we never ordered.

What was even more disheartening was the complete lack of willingness from the staff or management at Petanque Social Club to address the issue. Instead of resolving the problem, we were left with no choice but to pay the excessive bill just to leave the establishment.

Trust is paramount when it comes to choosing a place to unwind and enjoy a night out. Unfortunately, this trust was abused at Petanque Social Club. I expected better customer service and honesty from a reputable establishment. It's disheartening to leave a place with such a sour taste in my mouth, both figuratively and literally.

I hope that Petanque Social Club takes customer feedback seriously and works on improving their service and integrity in the future. Until then, I cannot recommend this bar to others, and I'll be cautious...
