Yamy’s — Restaurant in Marrakesh Prefecture

If you're looking for a more western dining experience that strays from the traditional Moroccan cuisine, Yammys is the place to be! I came upon this restaurant during my trip and was initially drawn in by the affordable prices. Little did I know that it would quickly become my go-to spot for almost every meal during my stay.

As a Canadian, I pride myself on our beloved poutine, but Yammys has truly outdone itself with their version. The beef poutine is a must-try; it's rich, flavorful, and somehow manages to elevate this classic dish to new heights. I can confidently say that it's better than any poutine I've had back home!

The 4 cheese pizza at Yammys is simply phenomenal. Having just come from Italy, where I indulged in some of the best pizzas in the world, I was pleasantly surprised to find that Yammys' pizza rivals, if not surpasses, those I enjoyed in Italy.

We landed in the afternoon to Marrakesh and had not done any research where to eat, as a rule of thumb me and the missus felt we should eat food thats closer to home.

After a bit of walking around Jemaa el Fnaa square which is loaded with street vendors/restuarants and other stalls packed with culture and we discovered Yamys hidden away inbetween a restuarant and a Mosque.

We ordered the Cheese Poutine, Mix Pizza, Cheese Burger and Mix Tacos as we were very hungry from the journey.

Every meal other than the Mix Pizza comes with a small portion of chips and is very tasty, especially the Cheese Burger as the beef patty is slightly chunky and fulfilling.

Our waiter Mohammed was kind and helpful and gave a us an experience to remember as we eat outside where all the night vendors came out and entertained passerbyers.

An Absolute Gem in Marrakech – Yamy's!

Yamy’s is hands down the best spot in Marrakech! The food is absolutely amazing—everything we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The location is fantastic, making it a convenient and charming place to dine.

What truly set our experience apart was the outstanding service. Muhammad, our server, was incredible! We arrived with a big group, and he went above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated. He was always fast, polite, and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed.
