We celebrated our company's Colors' 18th anniversary at @Newa Lahana Newroad last Thursday, and what a celebration it was! The Newa-dressed staff welcomed us like family - their motherly warmth made us feel completely at home in the restaurant's spacious rich ambiance.
Special thanks to Mr. Maharjan for recommending their signature Newa Lahana Special Hasaa Set - all 18 dishes were exquisite! We also enjoyed the Yomari, Durupa, Thwo: Chyang (Newa: rice beer), Chatamari, Mix Wo:, Ka:Kwa: (must try soup) and Momo. Each dish showcased authentic Newa flavors, beautifully balanced and mild.
They doesn't just serve food - they create memorable experiences steeped in Newa culture and hospitality. 18/18 on food, service & vibe! The Hasaa Set made our 18th anniversary unforgettable. :)

Newa Lahana Newroad is a fantastic place if you're looking to experience real Newari food in an authentic setting. The ambiance is traditional, with floor seating and a warm, cultural vibe that instantly makes you feel connected to the heritage.
The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and made with care. I tried the buff choila, aloo wala, kachila, steam egg kachila and buff momo, and everything was top-notch. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes.
Highly recommend this spot for anyone, whether you're a local or a visitor, who wants a genuine taste of Newari culture...
