A Hidden Gem in Patan, Nepal!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I stumbled upon Ganvi's Eatery in Soh Tha Galli, Patan, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise! The cafe's colorful ambiance creates a vibrant yet peaceful atmosphere. The minimalist decor is eye-soothing, accompanied by soft music that adds to the overall charm.
What sets Ganvi's apart is their unique take on nachos – made with Nepali "fapar" flavor. The taste is truly one-of-a-kind and adds a local twist to this international favorite. The nachos were undoubtedly the best I've ever had!
I visited Ganvi's with friends, Nee and Pee, as shown in the picture I posted. We all thoroughly enjoyed the inviting environment and couldn't get enough of the fantastic nachos. The friendly staff and excellent service only enhanced our experience.

Read moreOne of my friends had recommended trying the Nachos at Ganvi's Eatery, so we decided to give it a try with high expectations. We ordered two varieties – Nachos with Cheese and Chicken, and the Meat Lovers Nachos. While the overall taste was decent, the nacho chips themselves were not as fresh as expected, which affected the overall experience. A little more crispness and freshness would have made a big difference.
We also tried the Buff Croquettes. Although they looked quite presentable, we were disappointed to find them raw on the inside. When we brought this to the attention of a staff member, he simply acknowledged that it was indeed raw, without offering any solution or apology. This was surprising and rather disappointing, especially in terms of service response.
Overall, while the eatery shows potential with some of its offerings, there is definitely room for improvement in both food quality and...
Read moreGanvi's Eatery is an addition to the Patan Durbar Square/Swotha area that I had very high expectations for. Having had @smile_nachos in the @labimbazaar so many times, I was excited to visit this location with such a great ambience.
There were a lot of groups so I did not mind a slow service. It was a chilly evening so I had ordered a cup of milk tea to warm up my body. The sugar came separately which I liked. Next came the churros. They nailed the soft interior but the outer crust wasn't crispy. The drizzled chocolate was adequate and complimented the churros. Last came the nachos. I had ordered Tangy salsa, which was exactly as expected, amazing. No complaints here.
Overall I feel like Ganvi's eatery is a good place to hangout with friends. I will visit again in the near future to try Thenthuk and...
