Machhapuchhre Organic Coffee — Restaurant in Pokhara

Nice café with pleasant garden seating where I ordered a doppio. The coffee was good, but some background music would definitely enhance the atmosphere.

I was a bit surprised to receive a full liter water bottle with my double espresso - a glass of water would have been sufficient and more appropriate for this type of coffee service.

On the positive side, the restrooms are clean and well-maintained. The café offers Nepali coffee packages for purchase, and they have baked treats available as well. I noticed they also serve matcha, though I didn't try it this time.

Overall a pleasant spot with potential - a few small adjustments would make the experience...

The coffee here is truly captivating. From the moment it’s served, the aroma is enticing, and the flavor strikes a perfect balance between nuttiness and acidity with a weightiness that isn't too light.

Although I’m not an expert, I can tell that the beans, grown here in the Himalayas of Pokhara, are of exceptional quality, making for an excellent cup of coffee. It's also much cheaper and tastier than the well-known Nepali franchise 'Himalayan Java.'

I’ve tried both the single & double-shot hot Americano and the flat white, and I was satisfied with all of them. (Single-shot hot Americano: 120 NPR)

Tried a few coffee shops in Pokhara, this is my favourite. Very nice guy at the counter. Came here twice during my stay, will certainly come here when I come to Pokhara again.

P/S: for those who can’t tolerate acidic coffees, here is a good option for you. The beans they used here (Arabica medium dark) are just nice for me who’s also intolerant to acidic coffee. They also sell the beans...
