Read moreFrom the moment you step inside, the cozy atmosphere and stunning views of an unforgettable setting. The staff, particularly our attentive waiter, made us feel incredibly welcome and ensured a seamless service throughout the evening. The food was a true highlight. We started with the Mutton Curry, which was rich and flavorful, perfectly seasoned and tender. The accompanying steamed rice was fluffy and complemented the curry beautifully. For our main course, we opted for the grilled chicken with a garlic and pepper sauce, which was cooked to perfection. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the sauce was just the right amount of pungent. We also ordered the vegetable samosas, which were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The ambiance is simply captivating. The restaurant is tastefully decorated with traditional Nepali elements, and the large windows offer breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The soft lighting and gentle music create a romantic and relaxing atmosphere. The service was excellent, with our waiter going above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and satisfied. He was knowledgeable about the menu and happy to recommend dishes that suited our preferences. He even suggested a local wine that was a perfect pairing with our meal. Overall, our dining experience at "The Mountain View" was exceptional. From the stunning views and cozy atmosphere to the delicious food and attentive service, it was a truly memorable night. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Pokhara looking for a romantic and authentic Nepali...

If I balance every factors including food quality, service, interior decor, vibes, price and WiFi speed etc, this is definitely one of the top restaurants in Pokhara (this is the conclusion after my more than 30 times' visits). If I can, I would love to give them 7 stars!
What I like most here is the comfortable and beautiful sitting area. On a hot day (I visited in May, June), they often turn on the AC on the ground floor sitting area. Even when there is a power cut, they often turn on the generator, and the WiFi never got cutoff even without using the generator.
As much as l like the sitting area, I also appreciate very much the services provided by the staff here. They are very cheerful, helpful and genuine. I could see that they enjoyed the working environment a lot, that's why they can give their best while working.
The food quality is undoubtedly one of the best in Nepal. I am a veg, my top dish here is the cheesy Veg Nacho and my top dessert is the Apple Pie. Besides, the Cooked Egg with Tomatoes, Parole Mushroom, Cajun Potato and Paneer Chilly are also my favourite. Their coffee is very nice as well, my preference is Café Mocha.
Their breakfast menu is very extensive too, unfortunately, I didn't try most of them due to the timing. But I did like the Waffles, the Egg Florentine and the Pancakes.
I only came at night once, and I came to know that they have live music almost every night.
All in all, I really like this place, and I will definitely miss it as now I am gone! Highly recommended this restaurant if you...
