Café Viotta — Restaurant in Amsterdam

If you dare to ask €4,50 for a (small) pie that's the size of a tiny cookie, you should at least make sure your service is up to scratch. We had to wait 15 minutes before we could even ask someone if they would take our order. The empanada I ordered didn't come, the pie did. When I asked about this the nice waiter had to check a few times (?!), but in the end it turned out that the empanada's weren't available before 15:00 pm. If they had told me that immediately, I would have ordered something else. But we had another appointment so we had to go without a bite. In short: overpriced with...

We went for a meal after visiting Van Gogh Museum. First warning was that we found our table dirty, but we said they are very busy, that is ok,. Soups, aperitif was fine. Main meals came cold and raw. I guess it was microwaved, not a meal prepared in the proper way. After having few bites we reported the issue to the staff. 20 min of waiting and we found that our meals has been warm up again even without putting new salads. I came to a concert on Concertgebouw with my wife and we stopped here for a coffee. Unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience. The staff was very slow, we wanted coffe and some pastry but they didn't have any of the pastry that we wanted. So, I ended up having just one cappuccino. It took us around thirty minutes to get the order sorted out and more ten minutes just to pay! For a cup of coffee! It was a pity, the cappuccino was good though... Two stars because of...
