Reggie, the sommelier, was the highlight of my dinner here. He was incredibly knowledgble, friendly, and was a great person to chat with. I chose this restaurant because of all of the locally sourced ingredients and it did not disappoint.
I asked Reggie for a healthy option on the menu and he was honest with me about which ones had a lot of oil or butter on it, which I really appreciated. He even offered to switch out the potatoes in my dish for grilled vegetables and it was perfect! The best part of my meal was the wine pairing that he suggested. Never have I had a meal that paired so perfectly with the wine... It was incredibly divine. He really knows his stuff and I'm so glad I found this restaurant! Will definitely come back!
I ordered the Hen Filet with grilled vegetables and had two glasses of the Chardonnay from Luxemborg.
The only con I can think of is that the bread was quite hard and stale tasting, but I don't fault the restaurant for that. I think that's expected for bread in the Netherlands 😂

I made a reservation for 9 for my birthday dinner. We had barely sat down after arriving and started to order a bottle of bubbles and a few cocktails for the 5 of us that were present - and the server asked me if “we were planning on ordering cocktails for the remainder of the night as it would overwhelm the bartender” - perplexed, I responded “yes … it’s my birthday dinner”. I understand there was another event happening but the bar needs to be properly staffed to handle the load and not give a reserved party the vibes that their business is not welcome.
I was also disappointed that they sat us wayyyy in the back corner - right next to the kitchen door that was constantly swinging open and completely hidden away from the main area.
