Be warry of the prices here, I'm not sure if it's because I'm a tourist they bumped the prices up, or if they genuinely are that expensive. We stopped off just to have a quick drink on our way home from the zoo. 4 500ml glasses of Leffe beer came to 36 euros. If it were a high end beer, or imported one, then I could understand the price. But for the style and quality of the venue, these prices are twice what they should be. When I questioned this, I was told it was correct and because of us having the large glasses. 500ml isn't even a pint... Ignoring the prices though, the style seems a bit dated and forced, but clean. The food looked fairly well presented, but as others mention the portions are small. It's a relatively small place and looks a bit cramped inside, but we were a able to sit in the street for our drinks. Personally I wouldn't go back as its not worth the money in my opinion, and I can't shake the feeling I was being ripped off for being a tourist. If money isn't an issue then it could be a nice place to go off for a light snack and a few drinks with a small group of friends, but there are far nicer places in much nicer locations around...
Read moreWe had a fantastic experience at Deli Deli Plantagebuurt restaurant in Amsterdam. We recently conducted a shoot here, and the attention to detail was impressive. The kitchen staff did a great job preparing the items we needed, and their commitment to quality was evident.
The grilled chicken sandwich was incredibly delicious, a true standout. The pizzas were also a hit, and they clearly put a lot of effort into their food. Not only was the food top-notch, but the entire dining experience was enjoyable. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was excellent. We were impressed by their dedication to making our visit memorable. We highly recommend this place, whether you're visiting for a meal or a special...
Read moreI arrived there at around 10h30, place not full at all. Btw the orange juice and my sandwich I had to wait for 20 min without her looking at my face, tell me it'd be coming, etc. The couple who got there after me started to be served before. After asking her what was going on, the staff told me there was a problem in the system w/ my order. I doubted and asked what it was. After insisting, she, with a nasty attitude, finally admitted she had forgotten it and decided to give me a bowl of soup and not charge me for it (of course). Mistakes happen with anyone, but how you manage to communicate it, is key. Too poor customer relationship. Felt totally...
