Another place in Amsterdam another mediocre experience regarding the service. Took more than five minutes to get acknowledged and another around ten minutes for a beer to arrive the table. I ordered a Bacchus kriek and received a Bacchus framboise. Said to myself never mind,either way I’m going to drink it. Then I ordered for the second time a Bacchus kriek only to be informed that they were out,which is ok with me so I got another beer. Along my second beer I also ordered a side of fries which I never received. We tried to order some food and got informed that the kitchen was closed, no problem we got some snacks from the bar. Order the tasting, they had no cheese, no problem we got offered more beer instead. What I didn’t like was that the guy behind the bar was eating some fried stuff from the kitchen when we just wanted to order the same haha don’t want to sell? Okay! Gollem changed this neighborhood bar into an intimate beer cellar, where residents meet and drink together. In the summer, there's a very nice terrace on the waterfront, overlooking the backside of Artis. The bartenders know what they serve, which is pretty amazing, given the enormous amount of beer choices on offer.
