We arrived and were seated to a table that looked like it wasn’t fully cleaned from the last customers. I had cutlery and a napkin and my wife only had cutlery, she finally was brought one at the end of our meal. We ordered a bottle of white wine which they brought to our table without a chiller, just plopped it on the table (could have at least kept it in the fridge for us), both wine glasses were dirty and had lip marks and food on them, the server took them away and brought us 2 wet wine glasses (thanks for drying them). We ordered quesadillas €8.50/$13.00 CAD (everywhere we’ve ever been you get 4) 2 slices showed up, sparsely without hardly any chicken, they were crusty and tough - very disappointing, the salad that was in the side had seen better days as well, the cucumber had gone off. There was a server who sneezed at least 4 times (while he was serving meals), and then we watched him wipe his nose with his hand and continue serving, no hand washing - especially in this day and age with COVID - we left hungry as we did not trust the cleanliness of this restaurant, this is what we could see!! The ornaments in the window ledge were covered in dust and had not been cleaned in ages. The people next to us has ordered steak €22 and they said it was tough and overcooked. When we received our bill and were charged €27 instead of the €22 for our bottle of wine to which we had them correct, double check your bill. Being in the heart of Amsterdam Central can bring tourists in, but not locals or people who read reviews. Cleanliness is a problem along with overpriced meals and not good value...

My friend and I ended up here being aware that it would have probably been a tourist trap. But it was late and we were starting to run out of options for our dinner.

Luckily it turned out to be better than I feared but still not good enough to decide to intentionally come back.

We got 2 cocktails each. The first one because it had blue curacao which is something that I have very rarely and the thought of makes me happy. Sadly the drink was mediocre.

We then had a margarita that came strongly recommended by a waiter who built a lot of hype around it. It was better but still mediocre. Not a cocktail I would generally want to pay a premium price for.

The nachos we had as starters were also not tasty.

At that point I was very surprised when we got our main which was a grill for 2 and it looked so special. It was even more surprising when the first bites of meat tasted quite good. I also got lucky to get my best bites at the beginning as the other pieces were less tasty.

I remember the accompanying chips being limp and also not particularly tasty.

The view instead was particularly beautiful as it faced one of the canals of...

Definitely not worth a visit. I never post reviews for restaurants, so this should show how adamant I am about this. The food was very overpriced for what we got. I got the steak fajitas which were a bit odd but fairly tasty nonetheless. However, my wife got the chicken/cheese quesadilla with vegetables and fries on the side. The quesadilla was small for €11.50, had little taste, and was fairly dry. The vegetables were obviously a from a microwave steam and serve bag. The fries were from a freezer bag and poorly baked in an oven. The staff was mostly friendly, but we sat around for 20+ min after finishing the food and finally got up to find the waiter so we could pay (they were not busy). Hilariously, we had 3 different people come up within 2 min of being sat and inquired about our drink choices (we hadn’t even been able to look at the menu for more than 10 seconds). Overall, this was an odd and disappointing dinner, especially considering we could have picked between 100 other restaurants within a 10 min walk. They are in a great location, so I hope they can learn from the complaints and make...

As we looked over the menu 2 people came out and tried to seat us. We accepted. What seemed like welcoming soon seemed rushed, as we were asked to order even before getting drinks offered. Then Before we could finish reviewing the menu the staff took some menus away saying other people needed them. (Note to restaurants.. have enough menus for seats) they weren't that busy but seemed to operate like they were. Food was marginal mexican/Spanish with no real taste. Kids menu was one option and tasted terrible. Then they rushed us the bill and said something again as they walked away. Seating was cramped and the added kids seat we needed they could barely squeezed in. During the meal something happened to one of the over rushed/stressed staff and they were ranting loudly. Go somewhere else please... Places and service like this don't need to exist.

The atmosphere was fantastic—warm, lively, and very welcoming. The staff were friendly, and the interior design really added to the overall experience. It’s the kind of place where you could easily relax and enjoy time with friends or family. We ordered the fish and chips, hoping to get a taste of authentic Dutch-style fish and chips. Unfortunately, the dish didn’t quite meet our expectations. The fish was overcooked in some areas and lacked seasoning, so it didn’t have much flavor on its own. The sauce helped, but without it, the taste was quite bland. Overall, it’s a great spot for the vibe and ambiance, but the food—at least the fish and chips—could use some improvement.

By far the worst we ordered in a while. First of all the order took almost one and a half hour just to get prepared. When we called the guy suddenly said it was ready and on its way. The food itself was abysmal. The lasagna looking mush was supposed to be a fajita but im not sure in which reality. The nachos were sloppy and supermarket grade. The tacos were cold and had a single piece of dry chicken and half melted cheese on top. The side of rice and beans was cold as well. Save your money and your time, do not order your food from here.
